I am a BSc graduate in Hydrology and Water Resources Management from South Eastern Kenya University, with seven years of hands-on experience in surface water and groundwater management. I have developed a robust skill set through roles with leading water management organizations and the County Government, gaining expertise in hydrological and geological assessments, data analysis, and sustainable water resource management. My career journey includes: Superintending Geologist with the County Government of Bungoma (2020–Present): Currently overseeing geological and hydrological operations, managing groundwater resource assessments, borehole siting, drilling oversight, and ensuring compliance with environmental standards. My work includes leading hydrogeological surveys, supervising field teams, and developing data-driven strategies to address water scarcity and improve resource accessibility. Internship with Tanathi Water Services Board (JAN 2017-DEC 2017) Introduced me to foundational skills in water resource monitoring and surface water management. Hydrological Technician with TAHMO (Trans-African Hydro-Meteorological Observatory) JAN 2018-DEC2018: Gained in-depth experience in climate monitoring and data management, with a focus on regional hydro-meteorological analysis to support water management strategies. My combined expertise in both surface and groundwater management, complemented by my experience with government and non-governmental agencies, positions me to contribute effectively to sustainable water resource initiatives, policy development, and climate adaptation projects. I am dedicated to supporting efficient water management practices and advancing resilience in water systems.
