Planning, forecasting and budgeting:
▪ Lead the planning process by ensuring that financial plans for all SSA Cultural Engagement.contracts/programmes/projects are accurately represented on SAP within the set deadlines.
▪ Challenge submitted plans by identifying synergies and ensuring delivery to targets and deadlines.
▪ Provide clear summaries for Cultural Engagement SBUs planning / forecasting.
▪ Support planning and rolling re-forecasting processes for the Cultural Engagement SBU within required deadlines as requested by Regional Head FP&A to ensure that information obtained from these processes is reliable.
▪ Support the Regional Head FP&A in developing reporting procedures and templates for the Cultural Engagement SBU and Contract/Programme/Project use.
▪ Reconciliation and review of SAP plans before system closure.
Financial analysis:
▪ Analyses growth trends, contract/project trends, performance and KPIs and support the Regional Head FP&A in making recommendations to maximise opportunities and manage risks to ensure targets are met.
Management Reporting:
▪ Lead on management reporting and consolidation for the Cultural Engagement SBU.
▪ Liaise with business leads and Regional Head FP&A for any variances between business planning and operational planning figures and provide explanations / commentary.
▪ Efficient and effective day to day running of financial systems and management information processes within the Cultural Engagement SBU.
Business Performance Management:
▪ Review financial performances with the Cultural Engagement business leads and make recommendations for action to address issues identified within contracts, programmes and projects.
▪ Ensure that contracts/projects/programmes are compliant with corporate risk management and other reporting deadlines.
▪ Coordination of contract/programme/project risk management processes, quality review and consolidation of inputs in line with corporate and regional requirements and deadlines.
▪ Monitor cost allocation accuracy.
▪ Work with programme staff and finance, tax and legal department stakeholders (country, regional and corporate) to share information and promote the most efficient and streamlined process compliance that is the best fit for the SSA Cultural Engagement SBU context.
▪ Support the development of SSA specific policy documents and information and knowledge management resources accessible to the SBU team and the wider network across the region.
▪ Administration, dissemination and guardianship of key financial management information systems and knowledge management products and tools (templates, policy documents, guidance).
▪ Hands on financial management support to field teams related to specific problem solving, troubleshooting and peak activity management (e.g. set up, start up, closure, internal and external audits)
▪ Production of consolidated financial, risk and other reports on a monthly basis as per corporate and regional MI requirements
▪ Participate in an agreed schedule of compliance, contract review and financial (“health check”) assurance checks.
▪ Support to the implementation of financial change initiatives as agreed with the Regional Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and the Commercial Finance Manager.
▪ Assist the Commercial Finance Manager as required in the costing and pricing of new opportunities and existing contract amendments.
▪ Support the business in relation to Master Data set up for new opportunities (WBS, PC, CC). Facilitate the appropriate SAP and vendor set up of new and ongoing programmes ensuring that minimum compliance standards are efficiently met and act as the first point of support for queries.
▪ Deliver outputs within corporate and regional timelines as requested by Regional Head FP&A.
Team Leadership:
▪ Coach and support individuals and teams within the Cultural Engagement SBU projects, contracts and programmes.
▪ Developing professional relationships and networks with stakeholders such as Corporate Finance, Regional Finance, Audit amongst others.
