Licensed and registered Medical Laboratory Officer: Registered and certified laboratory officer with a valid practicing licensed (Kenya Medical Laboratory Technologists and Technicians Board) Outstanding research skills: Advanced knowledge of medical research methodology and ethics; ability to develop intervention activities or programs for the management of diseases and conditions developing Medical Standards Operating Procedures (SOPs) and protocols. Good clinical practice training (GCP) and IACUC training i.e. Principles of animal care and use.

Excellent communication skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail; time-tested experience in communicating to all patients/relatives under care about nature of their tests.

Excellent computer skills: Excellent knowledge and skills in computer, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe photoshop, research software packages as well as strong capacity to use the Internet to find and access sources of information
