• In charge of the day-to-day management of the county department.
• Preparation and implementation of the department strategic plan, and Annual work plan.

Achievements

• Successfully managed two departments at the county government of Kakamega during my tenure as the county executive committee member that is; Trade Industry and tourism and Social services sports youth women empowerment and culture.
• Delivered 5 governor flagship projects i.e Bukhungu stadium construction, Construction of seven modern Markets, Youth and women empowerment program ( 3k personnel), Shelter improvement program ( 720 houses) and Industrialization agenda ( Dairy, Tea, Maize milling factories and Industrial park)
• Facilitated preparation and accent of 4 bills and drafted over 10 sectoral policies.
• Delivered as chairman of the taskforce on the turnaround strategy for revival of Mumias Sugar Company
• Participated as a member of the committee on county covid 19 mitigation strategy
