Accomplishments

    • Championed the successful implementation of SAP Ariba to streamline sourcing and contract management processes. After assessing existing procurement processes, I identified that tenders were being sent to suppliers via email, responses evaluated manually, and contracts managed entirely offline. I advised the business on the efficiency and compliance benefits of SAP Ariba, and worked with management to agree on the implementation. The system has been operational since 2023 and it automated sourcing, centralized contract management, reduced processing time, improved supplier collaboration, and enhanced audibility of procurement activities.

    • I identified inefficiencies in the purchase order dispatch process, where users manually downloaded and sent POs to suppliers, causing delays when handling multiple vendors. I recommended and facilitated the automation of sending POs directly from SAP to suppliers. The solution was successfully implemented, and it significantly reduced turnaround time and improved accuracy

    • Automated the sending of invoices and credit notes from SAP to customers, eliminating manual dispatch, reducing turnaround time, and ensuring timely, error-free document delivery.

    • Implemented automated batch management at delivery creation, improving inventory accuracy and streamlining warehouse operations.

    • Introduced automatic closure of open Sales and Purchase Orders in SAP, enhancing data integrity, preventing process bottlenecks, and improving reporting accuracy for management decision-making.

    • Configured and enforced credit limit checks at the sales order stage for all customers, strengthening credit control, reducing financial risk, and improving cash flow management.

    Successfully implemented SAP All-in-One for Kenya Revenue Authority from blueprinting to go-live, configuring and rolling out the Materials Management module across regional offices, resulting in standardized procurement processes, improved inventory control, and enhanced supplier management.
