- MILKING DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- -Milking 3600 with steam of 7 people using modern technology
- -Monitoring milking quality
- -Ensuring milking procedures are followed as per almarai standards
- -Spraying of iodine to the teats of the cow
- -Making sure that clusters are attached properly and aqua reliesto prevent air leak or squawking
- -Striping all cows teats and making sure that all cows are clean and dry
- -Detecting of cows with Mastitis and notify the supervisors
- -Reporting unhealthy cows and recording the cow number
- -Pushing cows as per milking order
- ANIMAL HEALTH
- -Receiving fresh cows, locking and doing health check every morning, select sick cows correctly diagnosis and administer right treatment and doing follow up
- -Milk fever treatment in fresh cows
- -Hoof trimming and treatment of lame cows
- -Able to perform health walks
- -Test heart beat on cows
- -Able to diagnise cow with Mastitis and grade of mastitis

- CALVING
- -Moving cows to their houses after dry off and keep monitoring them on a daily basis for any abortion, sick and mastitis cows.
- -Monitoring cows that are 270 days for signs of calving, assisting any cow that have difficulty in calving.
- -Transfer calves to sheds using tractors, apply iodine at the navel, steel tagging, ear tagging and weighing
- -Bottle feeding of new born calves with colostrum which is very important for the immunity of the calves
- -Sand bedding of calf pen to maintain hygiene
- FEEDING
- -Fees counting (alfa alfa) in the store
- -Working in pre mix were different types of feed are mixed, and after mixed again with alfa alfa
- -Scrapping and Harrow doing beddings -Loading of cow waste from houses
- -Grass pushing using grass pushers
- -Operating of loader according to its designated work
- -Cleaning of drinkers
- -Able to recognize the sequence number of the feed to offload from the store to avoid health issues
