Work History

Detective Corporal

Directorate of Criminal Investigations headquarters
Nairobi, Kenya.
05.2003 - Current
  • Currently working at investigations department. whereby i have worked in various departments and attachment to corporate institutions. I have prepared and compiled an average of thirteen (13) police files in a year, arrested suspects and arraigned in court whereby 80% of them were convicted. This has reduced the crime rate by big margin and even increased revenue collection as some of them were tax fraud related cases. I count this to be among many of the organization's successes.
  • Investigated complaints brought by members of community by conducting interviews and compiling evidence.
  • Appeared in court and testified under oath in criminal and tax fraud cases.
  • Wrote detailed reports outlining case findings for internal files and legal purposes.
  • Led undercover operations targeting organized criminal groups, resulting in several arrests and dismantling of illegal activities.

Supervisor of Investigations and Enforcement.

Kenya Revenue Authority
Mombasa, Kenya.
01.2019 - 01.2022
  • Participated in investigation and prosecution of cases both from the Domestic taxes and Customs and border control cases. Whereby in a given a year a minimum of twenty (20) individuals were arrested after investigations were done and were charged in court whereby 90% of them were convicted and served various terms in prison. As a result some were fined which led to the government getting money from the same fines which amounted to about two billion shillings in a year(15,536,394 USD).
  • The prosecution of the suspects also reduced tax evasions by about 60% as this acted a deterrent.
  • Increased team productivity by implementing efficient workflows and setting clear expectations for staff members.
  • Oversaw daily operations of the department, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
