Keen to garner a salary, I worked for numerous hotels across South and East Africa, with a specialization in HNWI clients, Cintsa Bay, on South Africa's Garden Route. By twenty one, I worked as Head of Sarova Hotels Group Brand Management, It was with Sarova that I began to promote the artisan skills of Kenya that had long held a fascination for me, we set up tents and exhibitions on the banks of rivers, offering tourists a chance to meet the artisans who made their curios and offering the artisans a chance to garner the recognition they so deserved. The curios ceased to become curios and became pieces of art commissioned by the tourists. There was a great deal of community development work within this position.

My Grandfather.
I began working at the age of 12, providing childcare for a marine biologist in exchange for guided tours of Caribbean corals. This experience led to my lifelong love of free diving and the ocean. When my father was deployed, he left me in the Masai Mara, where I spent all of my free time in the national parks, participating in game censuses or rehabilitating and relocating wildlife.
