Providing business support for the 3 entities in Kenya namely Sucastainability Kenya Ltd, Kahawabora Millers Ltd and Kenyacof Ltd in multiple areas of operations including:

• Handling all matters accounts payables, cash and treasury management to ensure liquidity and cash utilization optimization for the 3 entities
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of coffee auction proceeds payments to approximately ten thousand farmers countrywide on weekly basis efficiently as per regulatory requirements.
• Monitor business exposure with respect to foreign exchange risks and liquidity risks and make recommendations thereon
• Perform monthly and weekly treasury forecasts to optimize level of funding and ensure efficient utilization of company resources.
• Developing and executing internal controls in relation to treasury policies to minimize operational risks and ensure compliance with controls and regulations while enhancing good work practices and system organization.
• Owning and managing Kenyacof books of accounts to ensure timely preparation of management accounts, monthly closure and subsequent reporting
• Managing team of accountants to prepare budgets and assist to track actual performance and run end to end cash and payments processing.
• Maintaining sustainable business partnerships with banking treasury department, tax teams and consultants to align treasury and business operations to strategy execution processes.
• Strengthening and building cohesive team to implement business objectives
• Working closely with team members to co-ordinate both external statutory audits and internal spot and tax health check audits.

Provide client customized accounting advisory services with specific focus in core business activities including:

• Assisting clients to design and implement controls purposed to drive business efficiency, accuracy and integrity of financial information
• Reviewing existing business processes and make recommendations on areas of optimization to improve efficiency
• Undertake bank and ledger accounts reconciliations, treasury planning and cash management for company clients
• Prepare annual budgets and assist in tracking budget to actual performance for company clients considering their uniqueness of their portfolio of investments and spot circumstances affecting business environment
• Advising clients on industry emerging issues and developments impacting their business
• Leading and providing guidance to team of accountants in bookkeeping, payroll and financial reporting
• Handling annual statutory and KRA audits on behalf of company clients ensuring their financial statements present true and fair view
• Ensured all clients are tax compliant filing and remitting taxes falling due
• Ensure risk management procedures are followed and client evaluations are verified
• Evaluating IFRS compliance on clients’ financial statements
• Preparing financial statements according to International Financial Reporting Standards

• Assist in executing qualitative, quantitative and comparative analysis of bonds and stocks floated in market in selecting highest yielding bonds and stocks for investment
• Assist to achieve timely preparation of comprehensive management reports and other ad hoc control reports strictly meeting board demands
• Assisted accounting function in capturing transactions into SAP accounting software with high levels of precision and reconciled fund account to bank statement significantly assisting in preparation of final accounts for auditing and publishing
