USAID-funded project- Feed the Future initiative through the Economic Recovery and Reform Activity (ERRA) program: Staple Food Value Chain Situational Analysis focusing on Maize, Beans, Rice, Sorghum, and Millet in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the Principal Recipient (TradeMark Africa [TMA]) in partnership with Eastern Africa Grain Council (EAGC) to undertake a situational analysis aimed at contributing to an increase in inclusive job creation and incomes among staple food value chain actors including smallholder farmers in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
• Conduct a desk review/literature review and prepare necessary background research and analysis to determine the baseline situation as benchmarks to measure change resulting from the project interventions.
• Inform approaches and strategies to realize positive project outcome in relation to staple food trade competitiveness and prosperity.
• Provide information and recommendations to inform future investments to address challenges along the value chains.

European Union (EU) Funded Project - Business Environment and Export Enhancing Programme (BEEP) For Mango, Avocado, Vegetable, and Flowers value chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the Principal Recipient (TradeMark Africa) in collaboration with key stakeholders in the export sector to undertake a study to enhance exports of Kenyan avocados, mangoes, vegetables, and flowers to selected markets in Africa, Europe, North America, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Asia.
• Conduct a desk /literature review and prepare necessary background research and analysis to determine the baseline situation as a benchmark to measure change resulting from the project interventions.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data collection tools using Kobo Toolbox and ODK Collect for field surveys and research initiatives.
• Participated in training over 100 enumerators on the use of various data collection tools.
• Conducted Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) and focus group interviews with over 500 stakeholders in the agricultural sector.
• Designed and conducted baseline, mid-term, and end-line assessments to measure project outcomes and impacts, utilizing a variety of quantitative and qualitative data collection methods.
• Produced visually appealing and impactful reports using design software such as Excel, SPSS, STATA, and Power BI.
• Developed and maintained dashboards covering the mango, avocado, and Vegetable value chains, incorporating industry data, policies, and cross-cutting issues like climate change and agricultural innovations.
• Contributed to enhancing visual storytelling for success stories, case studies, and impact results, showcasing advanced report writing skills.
