Accomplishments
- I assisted in set up and deployment of over 130 Ministry of Health tablets enabling doctors and clinicians efficiently use AfyaKE system and access patients data electronically.
- I trained staff at JOOTRH on the AfyaKE HMIS and assisted ICT team roll out and support the new HMIS which helped the hospital track and improve revenue performance through automated billing of patients within the first 2 months of adoption.
- I entered, analyzed and forwarded marks of over 40,000 KCSE candidates ensuring compliance to Kenya Data Protection Act 2019 at the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC).
- Selected to the highly competitive Presidential Digital Talent Programme by ICT Authority, aimed at building digital government capacity and youth ICT leadership.
- Supported troubleshooting of over 350 user support tickets during my deployment at KRA, thereby improving ICT service resolution time at the Authority.
- Worked with the KRA ICT team to install and configure LAN at the newly established Siaya Tax Service Office (TSO) facilitating Tax Base Expansion and thus improving revenue collection under Domestic Taxes Department (DTD) in Western Region in the 2022/2023 financial year.
