In my role as a First aider, I consistently demonstrated hospitality through calm, compassionate care during emergencies. I provided immediate support with a reassuring presence, ensuring that individuals felt safe and respected regardless of the situation. By maintaining clear and empathetic communication with casualties and bystanders, I helped ease fear and anxiety thus creating a more supportive and humane experience during critical moments.
As a probation officer, (Internship) I engaged with different people in a gentle way to build trustful and non-judgemental relationships to efficiently offer guidance with empathy. I consistently created a supportive environment where individuals felt seen, heard and valued. By connecting clients with appropriate services and advocating their needs, I helped foster a sense of belonging and dignity, not forgetting the need to pay more attention to marginalized communities.

Travelling has enabled me to gain exposure to diverse cultures and helps me to be open minded and respectful toward others. Through various interactions, I have also learnt to adapt and adjust my behavior to make others feel comfortable and understood. Travelling also encourages a mindset of kindness, patience and genuine interest in others' comfort.
Travelling also teaches me to be a thoughtful guest by helping me understand that small gestures can make a big difference in making my host feel comfortable and at ease. These experiences have helped me gain emotional maturity and cultural sensitivity.
After a couple travels, it came to my attention that travelling has been an important part of my mental well-being. Exploring new places and cultures allows me to slow down and balance my mindset thus helping me make choices in a peaceful state.
