  • Worked as Business Development Manger at Fina Bank, now, GT Bank. part of the team that helped converted a Financial Instittion to Bank in 1996 ( 1995 to 2001)
  • Worked as General Manager, Business Banking in DTB Kenya. (2002 to 2022), joined the Bank when it was making a profit of 25 million and was very influential in taking the Bank from Tier 3 to Tier 2, and finally to Tier 1. Most of the current branches were personally scouted by me, including the selection of premises, recruitment of staff, and helping in business. By the time I left, the bank had 65 branches. Part of many committees, including the Business Development Committee, ALCO, Finance Planning, etc. I was managing a portfolio of about 60 billion deposits and 40 billion loans in my capacity as head of branches of Nairobi and Central Province. As head of Business banking, I spearheaded many projects, including ATM roll out, credit and debit cards, and branch expansion.
  • Joined as Director of Corporate Banking and brought in deposits of 3 billion and a loan book of 2 billion.
