  • Introduced bulk LPG storage thereby eliminating use of cylinders, enhancing safety and allowing bulk purchasing resulting into savings of US$ 8,000 per annum
  • Presented annual capital expenditure budget proposals which resulted in immense positive impact on facility upgrade.
  • Carry out all the duties and responsibilities attached to the operation maintenance and up keep of hotel’s HVAC, mechanical, refrigeration, electrical systems, generators (2 x 800kVA Cummins standby diesel generators), equipment’s and appliances, civil, vehicles etc.

Industrial Exposure

Attended a 3-month industrial exposure at Vulcan President, Pty in Johannesburg – RSA. During the period, I underwent training on effective workshop management; maintenance and production, including sheet metal work, specialized argon welding, electrical, and gas components assembly. Stores management including procurement and issues.

ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AND SAFETY – ISO14001

  • Has developed and implemented a management system that has led to the certification of Polana Serena Hotel with an ISO 14001 certificate
  • Performed several aspects and impacts assessment audits within key waste disposal sites in the city of Maputo – Hulene Landfill
  • Society mobilization to adopt environmental friendly practice both at home and at work
  • Hosted several health and safety forum to highlight employees on safe work procedures
  • Developed a legal register to facilitate awareness of employees on statutory and international obligations
