  • Helped in crafting the Build Open Scalable Sellable ‘BOSS' Framework which is one of the growth areas within the company geared toward offering MSME tailored saas solutions for managing their businesses
  • The BOSS Framework is part of the Champion the Solution Architecture Bi-Weekly Architecture Review Board sessions which allow Solution Architects across the company to peer review solution designs that are being implemented within the company
  • I also works as an optimal session through which solution architects can learn from their fellow peers and other key domain experts internally and externally
  • This has lead to a faster onboarding for Solutions architects with majority of them being able to deliver their first month as opposed to three months before
  • As the chapter lead I have helped training, guiding and mentoring more than 7 solution architects within the chapter in proper design expectations
  • Stakeholder management among other key solution architecture craft skills
  • Helped in the design and development of the Mission Dashboard solution which will lead to a reduction of more than Ksh 40M in annual licensing costs
  • Mission dashboard is a solution for setting and tracking mission across the company
  • Helped in designing and implementing the Digital Identity solution
  • The digital identity is a solution for Identity and access management and is aimed at giving all of safaricom 35M – enterprise and consumer customers a better authentication process through the use of a single credential across the company

  • As the lead solution architect, I helped design, build and implement the Safaricom MyCounty Mobile app with the Makueni County as the launch County
  • The application has helped in almost doubling the Counties own source revenue from 400M– in 2022 to 1B–
  • The app provides a single experience for various Counties with about 12 Counties already onboarded from the initial single county in 2022

  • Helped in streamlining the business processes across the university by automating multiple functions within various university domains such as the university health management, academic management, human resource management, food production and sales as well as the university foundation management

  • It also lead to higher staff productivity on the HR space with the implementation performance modules with a 20% increase of staff performance visibility
