An Animal Health technologist with over Fifteen (15years) experience in implementing community-based projects. I have extensive experiences working with communities especially pastoralist in Northern Kenya. Currently, I am working with Department of Agriculture, Livestock and fisheries, Marsabit County as Chief Animal Health Officer and Seconded to Kenya Livestock Commercialization Project (KeLCoP) as County Coordinator. I was seconded to Drought Resilience Project in Northern Kenya (DRPNK), KFW (German Financial Cooperation) funded Project as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer between 2018 and 2020 extensively involved in Technical Reporting. I also worked with Malteser international in the Integrated Drought Resilience Program in Illeret in Marsabit County where my responsibilities include establishing market links for livestock owners; training community-based animal disease reporters in optimal feeding and breeding practices, diagnosis and treatment of livestock diseases and supervision, monitoring and evaluation of livestock marketing activities. I have for many years provided veterinary clinical services in Moyale and sololo complementing it with herd health management routines and extension services
