As an ambitious student, some of my skills are listed below.
From manual metal arc welding to oxy-acetylene gas cutting, I was able to learn the welding skills and techniques of different types of metal and parts of machinery; base support for a robotic arm, housing of metal arc welding, forging of a crowbar and farm related tools, welding of a faulty cast iron table handle.
I was able to sharpen my machining skills when working on different types of machines, including lathe machines, grinders, drilling machines.
I was among the first persons in JKUAT to set up and use a water jet cutting machines, being the first machine of its kind to be used in the university.
I was able to learn and practise on some engineering, including inventor and solidwprks. From using the softwares, I was able to design and create files that were used on the water jet cutting machine.
