This was an award to recognize my contribution towards Successfully Lobbying the Communication Authority of Kenya to charge at half rate all spectrum fees for transmission spectrum in Rural areas. As a consequence the company saved USD.4.13million

• Planning, design and Optimization of the PDH Microwave and SDH links and carrying out interference analysis. (Ericsson Mini Links, Ericsson High Caps, Siemens SRAL, & SRAL-XD; Harris –Microstar and True point)
• Planning for Transmission Equipment Regionalization.
• Planning and design of the Point-to-Multipoint transmission Systems (Ericsson MMDS for Two cities in Kenya, and Marconi LMDS for Nairobi City).
• Prepared evaluated and awarded tenders for Dark Optical fibre & Metro Fibre service Providers.
• Project Managed the Metro & dark Fibre Projects.
• Project managed the implementation of Safaricom's first and second International gateways and National VSAT hubs.
• Project Managed High Power Amplifier upgrades for our Satellite Gateway.
