I am a dedicated, experienced & Certified Project /Program Manager (PMD Pro) professional with a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainable Human Development. I have spent the past 14 years working closely with pastoralist communities in Northern Kenya. My expertise lies in community development, peacebuilding & conflict resolution, social action research, pastoral community resilience, program management, stakeholder engagement, fundraising, & resource mobilization. I started my career with the Pastoralist Peace Museum in 2012 as a peace coordinator where I served for a period of four years, I then joined the Network Empowering Samburu Transformation (NEST) in 2017 as a Senior Project Officer where I served until December 2019. In 2020 October, I joined the Ministry Research Network Centre (SOMIRENEC) as a Peace Project Coordinator Social in Isiolo County. I later joined Mercy Corps in Samburu County as a Field Officer Program Manager stationed in Baragoi to lead the team in the NAWIRI program a $100 million five-year initiative founded by USAID and the Office of Food for Peace (USAID/FFP). I have also been appointed as a chairman in different leadership forums where I have significantly contributed to the success of the organizations I have served in different leadership capacities.
