Livelihoods enhancement through Climate Change adaptation interventions: this was achieved through working with the Makueni and Kitui WRUAs where incorporation of tree nursery establishment (for catchment rehabilitation) together with vegetable growing to serve as a source of livelihoods for the communities was done. Through this, the community was able to sell the vegetables and some of the tree seedlings after having planted some at their catchment areas for protection.
Kitui and Makueni WRUAs Water Security Plans: this was formed while working for USAID as Environmental Officer. It was established in collaboration with WRA, aimed at informing the WRUAs and WSPs on action they should take especially when planning on rehabilitating/implementing their sub catchment water resources.
Rehabilitation of the Main Water Towers in Makueni County through tree growing and community engagement – the project was Aimed at bringing back the natural water towers of the county into their usable states through planting the water table raising trees and plantation tree seedlings. Sustainability was ensured through intensively involving the area community during the entire exercise, bringing about the project ownership and hence triggering their jealousy protection of the project
