Role Purpose: The Compliance Business Partner serves as an embedded advisor within business functions and Health Heart Africa (HHA) Health Equity Program, working to guide, monitor, and enable compliant business operations across multiple countries, each with their own legal frameworks, serving as a visible advocate for ethical behavior, supporting leadership and teams in making risk-informed decisions and embedding a “speak up” culture.


Key Responsibilities

  • Training and Capacity building, designing and delivering compliance training to employees and some of the external partners on Ethics and Transparency in business activities including anti-bribery/anti-corruption, promotional practices, patient safety, data privacy among others.
  • Support the SSA Business and to proactively monitor business activities, identifying potential risks such as bribery, corruption, any non-compliant interactions with healthcare professionals, government officials, or third parties, guiding them to tailor risk mitigation plans to each country or business unit’s needs.
  • Support Healthy Heart Africa (HHA) a Health Equity program in identifying and mitigating potential risks in launching and running the based Health Equity Program focusing on Hypertension and Chronic Kidney Disease in specific countries in Africa.
  • Oversee routine monitoring and auditing processes, tracking compliance performance, supporting local investigations into suspected breaches and working with business to ensure that corrective actions are implemented on timely basis.
