• Working for FAO's Sub regional Resilience Team for Eastern Africa (FAO-RTEA), based in Nairobi, Kenya, supporting programming in the Greater Horn of Africa Region
• Supporting project management and coordination of FNS-REPRO in Sudan, Somaliland and South-Sudan (www.fns-repro.com), including: managing teams of national consultants and contracts, developing annual reports, budgets and planning, progress reports and communication materials, learning and knowledge management

• Project management and coordination of day-to-day operations of the Learning Agenda component (led by WUR) of FNS-REPRO in Sudan, Somaliland and South-Sudan (www.fns-repro.com), including: management of country-based partners, managing teams of national consultants, developing annual reports, budgets, progress reports and communication materials, learning and knowledge management
• Conducting analyses and research in the areas of food systems, food system resilience, disaster risk management, learning, MEAL for evidence-based and adaptive management, conflict risk reduction and value chains
• Design and development of key knowledge products, tools, conceptual frameworks, studies, lessons learned papers and training materials in the areas of food system resilience and disaster risk management (including qualitative data collection methods)
• Design and implementation of rigorous evidence-based and adaptive programming cycles for learning and adaptive programme management across the HDP nexus
• Contributing to farmer-inclusive value chain development processes and market system development, linking production to markets for improved income generation in protracted crises contexts
• Designing and organizing key learning events, expert consultations and workshops including a wide range on international, national and local stakeholders and partners

• 2-year traineeship funded by Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs for high-potential young professionals in the international development sector with a focus on agriculture
• Focus on personal and professional development through coaching, capacity building and expert workshops across a 2-year period in a group of fellow young experts
• Capacity build on project management, intercultural communication, facilitation, finance, mediation, safety and security and leadership

Internship in Sierra Leone as Resilience Programme Manager:

• Contributed to programme design and implementation, focusing on 2 programmes building resilience in flood-affected communities in Freetown and Community-Managed Disaster Risk Management (CMDRR) projects in rural Sierra Leone
• Established Resilience Department for Cordaid Sierra Leone and hired a Resilience Project Manager

Thesis Research on Conflict & Resilience:

• Conducted thesis research on Cordaid's Community-Managed Disaster Risk Management (CMDRR) approach and merged this with conflict-sensitive programming approaches
• Conducted field work and co-facilitated a CMDRR training in Arua, Uganda, focusing on contexts of refugees and host communities
