• Facilitated a successful Production Exadata DB Machine platinum patching by Oracle Advanced Support

• Managing the High Availability RAC Database solution for BankFusion Universal Banking (MISYS) Core Banking System and its performance tuning including Oracle Active Data Guard Replication solution for disaster recovery
• Managing several Oracle Databases for the TranzWare Card Management Systems and the Oracle Active Data Guard solutions
• Implemented Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, County Revenue Collection Databases' Maximum Availability Architecture (RAC combined with Active Data Guard) on Exadata Database Machines running on both Production and Disaster Recovery sites
• This also included; setting up Internet Banking WebLogic (Clustered Domain) Servers, Apache web hosting servers, Mobile Banking JBOSS servers
• Setup up the Islamic Banking (IMAL), Electronic Document Management System and Back Office Banking systems databases
• Migrated existing core databases mentioned above to the Exadata Database Machine from both AIX and OEL OS platforms using Export/Import Data Pump and Transportable Tablespaces with reduced downtime
• Setup the Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11g (with Oracle Data Integrator) for integration with Oracle Business Financials (E-Business suite R12.2)
• Setup the Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 Vision Demo for user training
• Facilitated E-Business Suite R12.2 deployments by adding dedicated Oracle Homes on Exadata DB Machines including patch application and bug fixes
• Further created several Demo Vision E-Business suite setups
• Upgraded Exadata DB Machine RAC cluster resources from 11.2.0.4.0 to 12.1.0.2.0 (12c R1), added new 12c R1 database resources including patch application to accommodate the core banking system upgrade (Fusion Bank Essence MISYS)
• Upgrading OEM 12c to OEM 13c; Oracle infrastructure discovery which includes Exadata DB Machines providing efficient management of the IORM and Flash Cache.

• Provided administrative support on both Oracle Live/Production and Development Databases (9iR2, 10gR2 and 11gR2) on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (5 & 6), Sun Solaris Sparc (8 & 10) platforms and Microsoft Windows (2008R2) server i.e.
• Tuned database performance using Statspack and AWR reports, Database Health Checks, Incremental RMAN backup for efficient space management, basic scripting at OS level for RMAN backups and Database Schema/Table Exports, created database user accounts and database (system-level and object-level) objects etc
• Worked with developers to facilitate upgrading of StarCARDMAN Proprietary (ATM) Card Generating Application; including Application patching
• Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) Compliance Project which entailed: Upgrading 10gR2 and 11gR2 databases to newer releases and versions; which also included application of latest Critical Security Update and Patch Set Update database patches
• Enabling Database Auditing on all Oracle Databases within PCI scope
• Configuring User Administration and Security (Password Complexity) as per PCI requirements
• Data Retention Policies and Database Encryption
• TSYS PRIME 4 (Visa Payment Card Processing Application) upgrade which involved: Installing and patching Oracle 11gR2 databases on RHEL 6.3
• Support in implementing and maintaining Oracle Streams for PRIME databases
• Configuring database compliance to PCI DSS specifications mentioned above.

• Tutored Oracle Database Administrator and Oracle Developer courses, in addition to Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administration
• Managed Production database on Red Hat Enterprise Linux platform including other enterprise databases
