  • Main responsibilities
  • Schedule daily operations-prepare a schedule of activities in the branch and allocate tasks to the team
  • Ensure presentation and visual merchandising (Display) of showroom as per the required standards
  • Ensure Showroom is fully stocked with required stocks
  • Ensure that all POP's are in place and pricing completed
  • Follow up those customers are promptly attended to on arrival in the showroom

  • Open all export/import files once the order/proforma invoice is received from the supplier/client
  • Applying for IDF and marine cover
  • Ensure accurate record keeping of import files i.e., ensure all data relating to imports is available
  • Applying of Local Transfer Out orders (LOB’s) from the Bonded Warehouse to the Go down
  • Applying of Letter of Credits (LC’s) and

  • Assisting the finance team in cross-checking invoices for Agents/Suppliers for payment

  • Monitoring of aging stock in the bonded warehouse and organizing for bond extensions
  • Proof reading of Imports documents

  • Ensured all IDF’s were processed within 24 hours or profoma receipt and shared to the supplier
  • Ensured all LC’s were processed and dispatched to the bank on time
  • Ensured all Imports and Exports documents are well filed for ease of retrieval
