Accomplishments


  • In 2023 - 2024, I Managed the revenue assurance project in 4 of the Banks subsidiaries; Kenya, Ghana, Burundi, Uganda. For each of these countries, I did the project planning, Initiation, implementation and closing. This project saw a 2% increase in the subsidiaries' operating income.
  • In early 2022, I coordinated a project that aimed at putting in place the Business Continuity Management system for 2 Subsidiaries. In this project I was able to source for consultants, negotiate the budget and manage the project end to end. This project saw the Bank meet the ISO22301;2019 certification standards.
  • In 2021, I reviewed the end-to-end funds transfer and credit processes and credit organisation structure of one subsidiary bank. I was able to optimise the transfers processes by negotiating for a new corresponded bank and reducing the touch points thereby reducing the turn around time from 5 to 2 days. For the credit processes, I reengineered the process by introducing automated workflows that reduced the average turn around time from 2 weeks to 48 hours for personal loans.
  • In the last quarter of 2020, I coordinated a project that allowed at to measure the productivity of our operational staff. In this project, we started by working on a productivity measurement model that was adopted the organisation's nature of business and organisation structure. Upon approval, we collected data from all the departments in scope, analysed it using the model and were able to provide reliable result and recommendations to the management. This led to reduction of operating costs by 10%.
  • I also put in place new processes for a new product launce, Public Sector loans which the Bank had not been doing initially. This involved the setting up of the Department structure as well as the processes. This led to the Bank acquiring a new portfolio of 1 billion in loans.
