With 16 years of experience in medicine, systems strengthening, health advocacy, leadership, program design, and human development, I bring a dynamic and professional approach to my work. As a collaborative leader, I prioritize partnering with coworkers to promote an engaged and empowering work culture. Building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders is a documented strength, honed through extensive experience in high-level coordination with government MDAs, the World Bank, UN agencies, MDBs, NGOs, and civil society. Currently serving as the Director of Social and Human Development Programs for the President's Advisor on Women Rights, I lead initiatives to enhance and mainstream empowerment for women and girls in health, education, agriculture, and climate change through strategic partnerships and program design & implementation by ministries. Notable achievements include successfully leading a multisectoral technical team comprised of government agencies, UN agencies, multilaterals, NGOs, civil society, and the private sector to develop a strategic framework and implementation matrix that inform policy review, legal restructuring, and program initiatives aimed at ending teenage pregnancies/early marriages. Additionally, my efforts have improved adolescent well-being and enhanced child protection to foster quality uninterrupted education by creating safe environments for children in schools and homes while capacity building the duty bearers. With strong skills in strategic program design, planning and organizing for results, high-level stakeholder engagement, and inspiring positive change, I am committed to contributing to an organization focused on improving lives and achieving Sustainable Development Goals related to health, poverty eradication, and improved standards of living for women and children.
