I’m a digital communications expert and award-winning creative strategist with a deep passion for purpose-led storytelling. For over 10 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of advertising, social impact, and digital advocacy, blending data-driven thinking with grassroots heart. Whether I’m shaping nationwide conversations on road safety with the Usalama Barabarani campaign (NTSA & EU), or unpacking the hidden patterns of abuse in Hii ni GBV (Thellesi Trust & Healthcare Assistance Kenya), my focus is always the same: People. How they feel, what they need, and what moves them to act.
In Hii ni GBV, I led as Digital Strategist, Copywriter, and Creative Director. I developed an empathetic and sharply tuned communications approach that helped survivors recognise abuse, seek help, and connect to a 24/7 tele-counselling service via 1195. We crafted content that spoke to a wide range of vulnerable audiences from urban youth and rural caregivers to persons with disabilities and the elderly, spotlighting the often-missed signs of gender-based violence.
I also served as a Copywriter on the #EndFemicideKE campaign, where I helped articulate a national outcry against the surge in femicide cases across Kenya. My role was to give voice to the grief, rage, and urgency of the moment humanising statistics, fuelling solidarity, and calling for accountability through words that moved hearts and mobilised action.
I bring a hybrid toolkit to my work: the strategic digital production skills honed at agencies like Ogilvy Africa, The Partnership Africa, Scanad Kenya, and a deep commitment to values-based messaging from years of collaboration with civil society and rights-based organisations across the region. I’ve developed creative frameworks for campaigns on civic engagement, youth participation, gender justice, and social accountability always translating complex issues into emotionally resonant, locally grounded narratives.
In the role as a co-lead on the MenEngage Global Alliance Collective Campaign 2025 I will offer not just creative firepower, but a thoughtful lens on digital equity, audience behaviour, and meaningful message design. I understand what it takes to craft content that doesn’t just break through but builds bridges.
