This is working together with the appointed tender evaluation committee.

  • Monitoring and managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking and timely replenishment to ensure continuity of operations of the Institute without delays being experienced thus increasing the works and services efficiency.
  • Conducting the Disposal of obsolete assets including the electronics, computers furniture and waste papers upon approvals done according to Disposal policy of the Institute. The process being done by the established disposal committee by the Executive Director.

  • Collaborated with user departments in coming up with the Procurement plans which guided on the purchases done in the Company which resulted in 20% procurement cost reduction of 75% total budget due to adherence to approved Procurement Plan as required by the Procurement act.
  • Conducted tender opening and evaluations with the appointed committee for the procurement of various needed goods, service or works to aid the Company in day to day operations. This was guided by Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act (PPADA 2015) and regulations 2020.
  • Undertaken supplier performance process through thorough appraisals in various aspects of quality of goods or works and services, the prices against the market prices, delivery time of the ordered goods as well as the technological application in their operations. This enabled the company to have strategic suppliers depended upon to support their operations fully.
  • Ensured timely supply of quality goods and services that met all specifications through expeditions thus the activities of the company were carried out smoothly without interference since materials were available when needed.
  • Handled annual Stock take exercise to account the assets of the company which gave insights to the assets status for proper action to be taken to ensure the value of the assets is achieved through well maintenance.
  • Disposed obsolete assets which included vehicles and motorcycles which were no longer economical to maintain and repair. This was through established Committee as the Procurement act, PPADA2015.
  • Managed the procurement Contracts and project documents as well as records were kept well for reference and need when any information was required at any time as required by the procurement law that documents be kept to six years.
  • Provision of Procurement documents to the Auditor general during their annual audit exercise which is done to Public companies. This was for compliance whereby they scrutinized the procurement processes done and it was very smooth with no queries or issues raised over my activities which were under my leadership.

  • Updated ledger cards to balance the materials issued versus what is physically in the store which monitors the level of materials and helped in replenishment of the items before stock out being realized.
