Child Protection Assistant Associate

  • Conducted best interest assessments to identify potentially abused or neglected refugee and host community children, including UASCs and other vulnerable individuals. Reviewed referral notes as well as assessment data.
  • Investigate allegations of abuse, neglect, or exploitation through home visits and follow up assessments to gather factual evidence while creating effective case plans.
  • Perform evaluations to assess parental fitness and caregiver competence, make decisions regarding child removal from hazardous environments, and facilitate foster care arrangements.
