• Long-Term Goals: Lead the board in setting long-term goals and objectives for the CIG and oversee the development of strategic plans.
• Evaluation: Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives and make adjustments as necessary to achieve the organization's goals.

Leadership and Governance:

• Chair Meetings: Lead board meetings and ensure they are conducted efficiently and effectively.
• Strategic Direction: Provide guidance on the strategic direction of the CIG and ensure that the board’s decisions align with the organization’s mission and goals.
• Policy Development: Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures that govern the organization

Management and Staff Relations:

• Executive Director: Serve as the primary point of contact between the board and the executive director or management team, providing support and guidance.
• Performance Review: Oversee the evaluation and performance review of the executive director or senior managementRepresentation and Advocacy:Public Relations: Represent the CIG in public and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including donors, partners, and the community.
  Advocacy: Advocate for the organization’s mission and interests, and engage with relevant authorities and organizations to promote the CIG’s objectives.
