Technical leader responsible for shaping and guiding the organisation's work on gender equality, social inclusion, and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in a Global Affairs Canada funded project.

• Provided senior gender advisory support to legal and policy advocacy programmes advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights for adolescents and young women across Africa.
• Worked with legal and programme teams to integrate gender and intersectional analysis into litigation strategies, policy advocacy, and partner engagement approaches.
• Supported identification, assessment, and grantmaking for civil society partners using legal and policy tools to address rights violations.
• Reviewed partner progress, risks, and political developments, and supported documentation of advocacy outcomes and learning.

Dutch-MOFA funded regional sexual and reproductive health and rights programme focused on dismantling structural barriers through an intersectional and systems approach across Zambia, Uganda, Ethiopia, Rwanda, and Kenya, with linkages to global advocacy. The role was part of a programme management team based in the Netherlands and Kenya.

• Led programme design and co-creation with women- and youth-led organisations to address barriers to access, participation, and accountability for adolescents and young people.
• Managed country managers responsible for partner selection, contracting, and grant management across fifteen civil society organisations.
• Oversaw programme implementation through regular reviews, field visits, and budget monitoring to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Worked closely with monitoring and evaluation teams to capture learning and improve programme decision-making and adaptation.
• Represented the programme with donors, government stakeholders, and partners across multiple countries in Africa.
