Programme Management - Bais In Health, Education And Gender
Nairobi,59983

Summary

With over 15 years of experience in program management, strategy design, gender mainstreaming, monitoring and learning, I bring extensive knowledge to the education, public health, and gender sectors. The depth of my background enables me to develop and implement impactful programs that drive social change and empower vulnerable populations. Throughout my 13-year tenure in senior management roles across government, NGOs, research, and humanitarian organizations, I have honed expertise in grants and grantees management, overseeing the entire program management cycle, monitoring and evaluation, stakeholder engagement, gender assessments, capacity building, and resource mobilization. This positions me well to drive transformative change in Kenya, Africa and the World. Demonstrating commitment to gender equality through leadership in initiatives supporting women's leadership, girls' education, addressing gender-based violence, and fostering inclusion. Served on the board of an organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities for vulnerable teenage mothers. Initiated the Triple Threat Initiative which brought together United Nations agencies, Civil Society Organizations, and Government agencies to lead policy change on HIV, adolescent pregnancies, and sexual and gender-based violence. This initiative resulted in the development of programs, guidelines, and messages addressing these three threats. Furthermore, it facilitated the creation of the Nyanza Women Leadership Caucus under the leadership of the Governor of Homabay County. The caucus unites all elected women leaders from the region to address new HIV infections, unintended pregnancies, and gender-based violence among adolescents and young women. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders to drive policy dialogue and implement strategies that advance gender-equitable outcomes and women's leadership is where I excel. Extensive experience in impact assessment and data analysis enables me to extract actionable insights that inform effective decision-making. Aspiring to create lasting impacts aligned with the goals of Co-Impact. Known for professionalism, ethical commitment, and innovative problem-solving abilities. Eager to contribute to initiatives that promote gender equality while fostering a positive work culture based on inclusion and collaboration.
