I created and transformed content and have worked on various corporate projects for Absa Bank Kenya and several in-house shows such as Bizconnect that covers the stories, products and servies of various startup companies and small to medium sized businesses in Nairobi.

I worked at NusuNusu Productions from 2019-2020 as a video editor interns and handled various projects with the company. These included NTV Lit360, Team 5 Minutes, Studio Tisa and Focus on Property.

Key Responsibilities

• Edited video by adding graphics, titles, audio and special effects.
• Reviewed video and selected best footage for storytelling.
• Collaborated with creative team and director to align editing approach with artistic vision.

• The goal of this project was to create a video documentary that looked into the rampant ill-treatment and discrimination of First Nations people in Canada, who were neglected and mistreated with no way of fending for themselves either through education or employment, and the efforts of the non-profit organization Fraser Region Aboriginal Friendship Centre Association (FRAFCA) to foster the youth and give them a home and an opportunity to make their lives and futures better while also strengthening the community
• Filming took place during their 'Guiding our Youth' home fundraising at a conference hall, whereby my groupmates and I interviewed various people during the event

Key responsibilities.

• I was tasked with operating the sound and camera equipment as the organization leaders and coordinators, First Nations youth and guests who had attended the event were being interviewed.
• I discussed and planned with my colleagues on the best locations to host the interviews as well as how to position the lights, camera and microphones.
• I was also in charge of recording B-roll footage to be inserted into various sections of the video.
• I assisted my colleagues with editing the video, including creating title cards and the choice of songs to be played and different sections of the video.
