Project: Strengthening Capacity of IGAD to Enhance Drought Resilience in the horn of Africa (SCIDA III)

• Facilitate safe and reliable transportation for GIZ staff, partners, and materials, safely and on time, ensuring adherence to local road safety regulations.
• Document vehicle movements, fuel records, and service schedules to ensure compliance with GIZ protocols.
• Execute routine vehicle maintenance as per GIZ checklist document to ensure operational readiness, including oil changes, brake checks, and tire inspections.
• Prepare ARs for shell cards refill, update fuel monitoring sheet and send the report to logistics focal person.
• Coordinate with logistics focal person and SRMO to update on road conditions, security issues, and other operational concerns prior to field trips and also share with the office and other drivers.
• Inspected vehicle before and after trips to identify maintenance needs and handle regular upkeep.
