Executive Director at Hands on the future Skills Show -Permanent Working Group (PWG). Works with NGOs, Think-Tanks, Development Partners, TVET institutions, and Government under PWG to implement TVET reforms while revitalizing the TVET Ecosystem in Kenya.

Roles:

• Enable TVET sector stakeholders to network and share ideas and strategies on how to improve perception of TVT among youth, their parents, and general public.
• Expose and connect young people to diverse opportunities in TVET sector while addressing unemployment, solving the Skills Gap Crisis, and eventually achieving Big Four Agenda in Kenya.
• Promote collaboration and guide implementation of TVET reforms to PWG members and external partners.
• In charge of Hands on the Future Skills Show- Direct, Plan, recruit, budget, mobilize partners, mobilize youth for Hands on the Future skills show (HOTFs)
• Manage logistics processes and contracting of event planners and lead organizers.
• In charge of fundraising.
• Organize workshops and seminar series in collaboration with PWG partners.
• Manage all engagements with all PWG players in the Kenyan TVET ecosystem.
• Support planning and execution of online(Virtual Platform) seminar series and workshops
• Prepare talking points and presentations for various PWG stakeholders for fundraising.
• Report writing, Financial reporting, and Monitoring & Evaluation
• Draft and implement Monitoring and Evaluation(M&E) strategies to measure the success and progress of HOTF and disseminate them to all PWG partners
• Coordinate with communication teams to create digital content including; audio-visual materials for communication, dissemination to all stakeholders.

Currently I serve as the board of director and a volunteer at Solvice Coaching Group.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide new strategic direction by designing models relevant to addressing challenges in schools. The Models focused on Leadership, Personal Development, Talent Identification and, Mindset Transformation.
• Give support to business development functions and processes while managing project in all stages
• Improve academic excellence in four partner schools within Shauri Moyo slums.
• Provide investment outlay and solid foundation to the Talent Academy Resource Center in Kamukunji .The center enabled young people to realize their potentials and talents.
• Played key role in managing some of the projects and training young people to realize their potentials and talents.

Role: Managed the company by making strategic operational decisions ,meeting statutory obligations and enabled financial growth

Achievements:

• Ensured continued solvency and good financial health for Headworld Links Ltd, i.e.) Increased profit by 70% since purchase of Company.
• Expanded business for financial growth from two(2) main branches to four(4) branches within a period of one year
• Supervised all staff members to achieve agreed short term and long term goals and monitored performance against agreed targets.
• Led and mentored staff of Sixteen(16) young professionals
  

Role: Lead person in charge of the African Renaissance University (ARU) project at the Africa Alliance of the YMCAs (AAYMCA) . Directed, fund-raised , organized and controlled the ARU project.

Achievements:

• Developed Grants Proposals for Capital Development and Resource Mobilization for ARU. Raised over 1000,000USD within a period of two years
• Represented AAYMCA at local, regional, and international
  conventions while building and maintaining sustainable professional
  relationships with interested partners
• Worked with AAYMCA team to develop Social Enterprise Manual aimed at empowering 17 YMCAs Centers across Africa to support themselves financially instead of relying solely on grants and donations.
• Linked AAYMCA to over 20 partners in Skills Development Industry to provide incubation, mentorship, Scholarships, Experiential Learning (Apprenticeships), Funding Opportunities and Institutional Strengthening for ARU
• Fundraised for the Career Manenoz Event and Mobilized and empowered over 3000 youth in 2016
• Developed the African Renaissance University Business plan ,Strategic Plan, Operational plan and Monitoring & Evaluation Tools
• Facilitated scholarships for over 2500 young people in Technical Vocational
• Fundraised and facilitated development of curriculum to ensure ARU delivers outstanding range of education and training opportunities.
• Facilitated Accreditation of the African Renaissance • University
  Built and strengthened AAYMCA relationships with Government Agencies, Donors and NGOs by representing their interest.
