I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management at the University of Karatina in Nyeri in 2021, high school at Mahiga Girls Secondary School in 2015, and sat for the KCSE exam and primary school at St. Monicah Academy in 2011 and I sat for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE). I worked at Nyeri County Public Service Management from January 2022 to January 2023 where I assisted in managing the data by regularly uploading the necessary files to the HR system. I learned the various employment labour laws and policies by reading the HR handbook. I worked with the HR officers at the county office to review the HR policies to align with the organization's goals and changing workforce dynamics, I also assisted in the authentication of employee medical cover applications. I also attended my internship at Emploi Recruitment Agency from June to July 2021. I helped in the shortlisting process and conducting interviews. I managed job postings on social media and the company’s online system to advertise and attract candidates. I was assigned to check and make a decision on job applications and resumes through online platforms based on the advertised JDs and ensure the right candidates were selected after screening. At my industrial attachment from May - July 2019 at Nawiri Sacco Society Ltd I was responsible for supporting human resource administrative tasks, Customer care, Clerical and assisting new members of staff to understand their responsibilities.
