1. Distributed Inventory Forecasting System

I developed a real-time AI forecasting engine using TensorFlow, Keras, TCN, LSTM, FNN, RNNs, Linear Regression, and ensemble models like Random Forest, XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost, plus ARIMA and SARIMA. I used Talend to preprocess the data and Apache Kafka to stream it to 50+ distributed machines, each running its own AI model for parallel computation. Result: Smarter stock purchasing, elimination of overstocking, improved cash flow, and fully automated forecasting at scale.

2. Glovo Live API Integration

I built the API integration between Pharmaplus and Glovo, enabling real-time order creation, updates, and delivery tracking. As a result, Pharmaplus became the first retailer in Kenya to achieve a fully live API integration with Glovo. This led to a 99% drop in order cancellations, improved brand reputation, and a significant increase in sales.

3. Sukhiba Centralized Store Model Implementation

I designed and implemented a centralized global store model for all 90+ Pharmaplus branches on Sukhiba. This reduced platform cost from KES 140K to just 10K/month. Pharmaplus became the first company globally to successfully run a single-store integration model on Sukhiba.

4. Real-Time E-commerce Order Routing & Fulfillment System

I developed an intelligent routing engine using Python, Django, Celery, Redis, and Google Maps API. The system checks stock levels and customer location to assign the best primary branch, and if needed, selects supplementary outlets to fulfill multi-item orders — all under 0.5 seconds. Pharmaplus became the first multi-branch retailer in Kenya to implement such high-speed, intelligent order routing.

5. KRA Intelligent Tax Controller

I built this system using Python and Spring Boot, with Talend as the pipeline for traffic flow and Apache Camel to route data between the cloud controller and KRA tax devices. It reroutes traffic in real time when a device fails, ensuring uninterrupted compliance. Pharmaplus became the first company in Kenya to deploy a fully intelligent KRA tax controller system.

6. Daraja Mpesa Cloud Integration

I implemented the first cloud-hosted Safaricom Daraja API integration among peer pharmacies in Kenya. Enabled real-time payment confirmations, reduced transaction failures, and created a seamless digital payment experience.

7. Mpesa Reconciliation System

I built a reconciliation engine that rescues missed Mpesa transactions from Safaricom, pushes them to the cloud, and delivers them to the correct retail branches. Combined with the Daraja integration, this system resulted in 95% customer preference for Mpesa, thanks to unmatched reliability and recovery.

8. PostgreSQL–MS SQL Server Data Bridge

I created a real-time data sync pipeline between PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server using Debezium, Apache NiFi, and REST APIs. This bridge unlocked centralized ERP integration for all external and internal systems, solving long-standing system isolation challenges.

9. Drugs Interaction Safety System

I developed this system using Java RESTful APIs, integrated with BNF datasets and backed by PostgreSQL to alert pharmacists about unsafe drug combinations. Pharmaplus became the first pharmacy in Kenya to deploy an automated clinical decision-support tool for safe dispensing.

10. Enterprise Report Generation & Distribution System

I built a system that generates daily reports on dead stock, excess stock, and forecast projections, then emails them to key stakeholders automatically. Result: Improved operational visibility, quicker decision-making, and reduced manual reporting overhead.

11. VPN Network Monitoring System

I developed a network monitoring system using Python, Netdata, and Nagios to track VPN uptime across all branches. Result: Real-time alerts and massive reduction in branch-level downtimes.

12. Rider App & Delivery Management Platform

I built this using Flutter, Java RESTful APIs, and PostgreSQL, enabling smart order assignments, rider tracking, and on-time delivery execution. Achieved 99% fulfillment reliability for last-mile logistics.

13. Cloud Migration of Stock Take System

I migrated the legacy stock take platform from shared PHP hosting to a containerized cloud infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes. Result: Faster audits, better uptime, and enterprise-level scalability.

14. Dead Stock Rotation System

I used Java data structures to trace dead stock, then applied Python logic to reassign that stock to high-demand regions. Result: Liquidated stagnant inventory and released locked-up cash flow.

15. Excess Stock Optimization Engine

I built an AI-driven engine that detects overstocking across branches and auto-recommends redistribution strategies. Helped eliminate wasteful purchasing and balance inventory across the network.

16. Rider-Optimized Fulfillment Engine

I created a backend logic layer that factors rider availability, ETA, and distance cost logic to choose the best branch for every order. Result: Faster, cost-effective, and smarter deliveries at scale.

17. Retail Image Processing System

I developed an automated image processing and cataloging tool using OpenCV, TensorFlow, PIL, and scrapers like BeautifulSoup and Scrapy. Result: Faster product onboarding, clean e-commerce listings, and scalable image workflows.

18. Tax Device Notification System

I built a Python-based monitoring tool integrated with Africa’s Talking SMS API to alert stakeholders when KRA tax devices go offline or misbehave. Result: Improved compliance tracking and proactive maintenance response.
