Ø To lead and oversee, in conjunction with Executive Committee, the implementation of the
WASPA’s long and short term plans in accordance with its strategy;
Ø Engage in advocacy and negotiation with policy makers;
Ø Communicate effectively with Executive Committee, Members, Employees, Government Authorities, other Stakeholders and the Public, and ensure integrity of all public disclosure by the Association;
Ø To ensure that the Association has appropriate systems to enable it to achieve the approved strategy both lawfully and ethically;
Ø Assess the principal risks of the Association and ensure that these risks are being monitored and managed;
Ø To ensure that the Association maintains high standards of corporate citizenship and social responsibility wherever it does business;
Ø Ensure effective internal controls and management information systems are in place;
Ø In conjunction with the Chairman, organize the annual meeting of members and develop the agenda for the meeting;
