  • Research, Identification and prioritization of relevant peace and security issues based on NCCK areas of strategic interest and opportunities for engagement and design of relevant intervention strategies in both top-down or bottom-up fashion
  • Data analysis through organization, summarization and categorization so as to find patterns and themes around election hot spots
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of the peace building & reconciliation programmes and projects
  • Engendering of projects and assessing the impact that interventions have on gender and work to ensuring gemder mainstreaming into the design, implementation and benefactors of the project through setting up of gender indicators, milestones in the M&E plan
  • Conceptualizing, planning, managing the implementation of various medium term and short-term donor funded projects
  • Delivered reports and data analysis during 2017 election to UN women, Diakonia Sweden and USAID collated from a designed ODK system with 5000 on the ground collators This research findings informed conflict prevention approaches mitigating violence in the aftermath
  • Communication of intervention results to National, regional and global audiences through supporting partner’s websites, audio-visual presentations and using highlight stories
  • Developed mediation, conflict prevention and resolution strategies for religious leaders and community elders before during and after elections
  • Conceptualization and presentation of policy and legislative proposals for amendment of various National and County Laws and policies
  • Leading team to advice religious leaders and private sector on advocacy around politics and elections in Zambia
  • Conducting baseline surveys analysis of context to inform the design of projects and development of programs in the peace and secuirty docket
  • Liaison with various National and international organizations on key policy issues of interest to NCCK
  • Collecting and collating information for development of information education communication materials on peace building and reconciliation control in liason with other stakeholders; and

  • Successfully coordinated the UN women funded County Bora Jukumu Letu project targeting movement building and capacity building of women for political leadership across 7 counties
  • Engaged in advocacy efforts through policy briefs with county governments of Bungoma and Uasin Gishu under Diakonia Sweden funded project by drafting, lobbying for successful enactment of public participation and civic education bills
  • Empowered church leaders and community in Muranga account on the law governing as a natural resource water specifically the Water Act, Water Bill and County Government Act so as they could properly engage the county government on the Northern Water Tunnel Collection Point
  • Drafted memorandum that Makueni church leaders presented to the commission appointed by the president following the petition for the suspension of the County Government of Makueni.
