Experienced and seasoned community development practitioner with a strong track record in implementing programs for children, adolescents, young people and caregivers. Over 9 years of working experience with diverse special populations, leading social protection and economic strengthening interventions for girls, young women, and their families in HIV/AIDS programming. Extensive technical skills acquired through roles at PATH Kenya, Ciheb Kenya, LVCT Health, International Medical Corps, and as a Youth Business Mentor under Micro and Small Enterprise Authority's KYEOP project. Proficient in community participatory methodologies, gender sensitivity, SGBV management, practice-based research/action research, project monitoring and evaluation, stakeholder management, module development, training content preparation for various audiences, facilitation, and networking. Currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Development Studies at The Catholic University of Eastern Africa and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Management.

I picked a new hobby alongside my career path; public speaking. I share my personal experience through public platforms at community level and county led mentorship forums. Currently a volunteer youth mentor under Helping and Calming Hearts CBO in Migori County.

At a personal level, I read short stories, novels and blogs. I have a personal monthly target of 1 book a month, 12 books a year. My favorite writer is the witty Chimamanda Ngozi Adechie. My most memorable read of 2023 was 'Rough Silk' by Deborah Tendo Auko and my current is "Nearly all the men in Lagos are mad" by Damilare Kuku.This hobby silently calls me to become a writer one day, maybe.

I am a lover for music not biased towards any genre. Would have been a musician in another life. I like urban Kenyan Rhumba and Sauti Sol remains my favorite Kenyan band.I was heartbroken when they split.
