Public Speaking, Reading, Listening to music

I picked a new hobby alongside my career path; public speaking. I share my personal experience through public platforms at community level and county led mentorship forums. Currently a volunteer youth mentor under Helping and Calming Hearts CBO in Migori County.

At a personal level, I read short stories, novels and blogs. I have a personal monthly target of 1 book a month, 12 books a year. My favorite writer is the witty Chimamanda Ngozi Adechie. My most memorable read of 2023 was 'Rough Silk' by Deborah Tendo Auko and my current is "Nearly all the men in Lagos are mad" by Damilare Kuku. This hobby silently calls me to become a writer one day, maybe.

I am a lover for music not biased towards any genre. Would have been a musician in another life. I like urban Kenyan Rhumba and Sauti Sol remains my favorite Kenyan band.I was heartbroken when they split.
