IMPACT WORK

• Developed a Microsoft Excel based Embodied Carbon calculator used as a tool to carry out the life cycle analysis of all design projects.
• Carried out of embodied carbon calculations and generated impact reports for all design projects using the Excel calculator and Tally LCA.

CIVIL/ STRUCTURAL WORK

• Carried out the 2D and 3D modelling of concrete, masonry, steel and timber structures using design software including Autodesk Revit, Autocad and Civil 3D for structural and civil works projects.
• Utilized Autodesk Robot, Tekla Tedds and Prokon to carry out structural analysis and design of structural elements and structures.
• Produced structural drawings including precise technical specifications.

• The Rewildings

Carried out structural design and production of structural drawings for 8 residential timber framed houses - Estimated project cost 360 million shillings.

• Makini School

Managed project activities for the main contractor and acted as a liaison between clients and project teams for the structural upgrading and renovation of classrooms and libraries.

• Cure Kijabe Hospital

Carried out the structural design and production of civil and structural drawings of a new steel frame kitchen and laundry structure - Project cost: 45 million shillings.

• Naserian Trust Foundation

Participated in the development of a 200 acre masterplan for the Naserian Trust Foundation including water and power infrastructure for a new primary and secondary school and medical hospital – Estimated project cost 1 billion shillings.

• Zima Homes

Designed and carried engineering tests and experiments for a prototype hollow block slab intended to achieve 35% cost savings with no reduction in structural strength and integrity.

• Conducted life cycle assessment (LCA) studies using tools such as Autodesk Insight, OneClick LCA, Tally, and EC3 calculators to evaluate carbon footprint, material efficiency, and energy use.
• Created automated reporting mechanisms within BIM workflows to assess carbon footprint, material efficiency, energy use, and waste reduction.
• Developed and implemented a workflow plan to integrate environmental impact metrics into partner organization's BIM management processes.
• Designed a framework for generating key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sustainability performance across all project work stages.
• Provided data-driven recommendations to enhance impact reporting, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals and industry best practices for partner organization.

• Supervised all road works in the upgrading of the1.7km Kiambu By-Pass Road to Bituminous Standards Phase II (Bazaar Road) project financed by The World Bank.

• Carried out the modelling and analysis of structural elements and structures using design software including Autodesk Robot and Revit.
• Liaised with civil technicians to prepare and update structural drawings using manual and computer assisted methods.
• Inspected project sites to monitor progress and adherence to design specifications and standards.

• Carried out site visits to assess construction operations for compliance with safety rules and environmental regulations for over 300 sites in Nairobi County.
