• Advanced Smart Metering Infrastructure project management and coordination Nairobi North Region, 04/2019, 01/2022, This project involved preparing needs analysis reports by carrying out an extensive design and survey of target clients mostly Small and Medium Enterprises. Implementing a Smart metering project at the regional level; Nairobi North Sub County. Ensuring that the core project objectives such as; Enhanced service delivery, Revenue protection and access to real time metering and consumption data are achieved.
• Identification, Design and Metering of Last mile and informal settlement electricity connection schemes, 11/2014, 2019, This involves the preparation of needs analysis reports, identification of customers, design of electrical networks connecting each individual; and processing customer metering accounts to be used later in billing. Customer identification involves liaising with the marketing department while metering involves working closely with the customer service division responsible for billing.
• Conversion of the Nairobi CBD electrical Network from Overhead to underground, 2017, This involved design of the entire electrical infrastructure covering the Nairobi Central Business District. The project would see the existing overhead network replaced with an efficient, neat and cost-effective underground system at a cost of 55 million shillings. The design captured all the electrical loads for all customers impacted as well as public utilities such as health centres and schools. Once implemented the scheme will reduce power outages and stabilise the entire Nairobi Town network leading to a reduction of energy and financial losses both to the public and the Kenya power company.
• Design of the Mwangaza Mitaani Street lighting Project, 03/2015, 04/2018, This project involved preparing needs analysis reports and liaising with the city county government in a bid to design the most energy efficient, cost effective and aesthetically pleasing public lighting infrastructure. I was in a team that prepared designs for more than 15,000 LEDs lanterns, ballasts and columns installed across the city and suburbs as well as in other urban localities for counties such as Kerugoya, Nyeri, Mombasa, Kisumu and Kisii.
