Role Overview
This role will lead the Kakuma factory operational needs and performance outputs. This role will be directly accountable for production through the fuel production agents, treatment agents, site security team, sales and delivery agent and maintenance staff. The Site Manager will be directly responsible for procurement, staff management, health & safety, site compliance, site financial performance and quality assurance and control. The main driver of success is to ensure gross margins at Kakuma average >12% in 2025.
Roles and responsibilities:
1. Operations Management
● Human resource: Manage, motivate, and ensure wellbeing for site staff. Managing scheduling, performance reviews, and contracts.
● Procurement: Lead procurement to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
● Maintenance: Ensure that site and machine maintenance are reducing downtime and increasing to production targets
● Health and Safety: Create and maintain a culture of health and safety. Lead tracking of H&S measures, incidents, risk register, and H&S compliance
