Best mediator, I was awarded best mediator in a mediation exercise I took part in as part of my family law module in my undergraduate.
Sports and cross country, I won several first place individual and team races during sports day in school and two tournaments with the university of Leicester football and futsal teams.
Volunteer Experience
Football coach, Aztec Sports, Nairobi, 2020, Started a football academy in Nairobi in 2020 with friends called Aztec Sports to help the youth. This was very rewarding and we received a lot of support and gratitude from their parents who were struggling at the time.
Part time volunteer English teacher, University of Leicester Islamic society, Leicester, I volunteered to teach English to Syrian refugees in my second year in Leicester with the University of Leicester Islamic society.
Charity Fundraiser, Fill my cup foundation, Nairobi, 02/2015, 03/2015, As president of the student council, I organised a charity fundraiser to help the community affected by droughts in Northern Kenya. It included bake sales, football tournaments and a 'fun day' with food being sold and a number of other activities
