  • Developed and monitored project schedules, budgets and objectives for successful completion.
  • Worked closely with Livestock and Veterinary Department of Tana River County, to train 380 pastoralist farmers on livestock stock management and commercial offtakes as way of managing deteriorating livestock.
  • Improved collaboration between with small livestock business enterprises and livestock farmers creating marketing opportunities for their animals during drought
  • Procurement of 1000 bags of livestock drought pellets and distributed to 330 pastoralist for their lactating animals. These have in turn provided crucial diets for young children, vulnerable women and elderly
  • Facilitated workshops to veterinary and livestock staff and community disaster management committees on disaster management cycle.

  • Established strategic partnerships with over 34 external organizations and County Government line ministries, expanding program reach and impact through quarterly stakeholder engagement
  • Organized 4 farmer field days and 2 educational tours to engage smallholder dairy and horticulture farmers in Homa Bay and Migori County, enhancing their learning experience within program framework.
  • Created comprehensive weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on program progress, and presented findings to stakeholders and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Developed training materials and led in training sessions for youths and women in emerging agricultural initiatives (Beekeeping, Tomato production, poultry, shoats, and dairy cow rearing) in Homa Bay, Migori and Baringo counties, fostering active participation in agriculture
  • Reduced post-harvest losses of milk and tomatoes in Migori and Homa Bay respectively through establishment of solar powered reefers and linked cooperatives with access to markets and value addition opportunities. Resulted in over Kshs. 1.7 million value in milk and tomatoes sales.
  • Managed 15 million budget annually and assisted in development of grants proposals, securing funding for vital program initiatives
